A lesson in why you treat airline customers with respect
I think this is a great example in how the alignment of a chain of unhelpful (and a bit short sighted) people can lead to a massive PR disaster in the online world.
This event happened a while ago but I’ve still come away with a rather negative impression of United Airlines. That’s what a negative viral can do if the original offending event is not acted upon. Not sure how United Airlines responded to the video but I kind of hoped that they came back with a tongue in cheek musical response explaining how they’ve now mended their ways… mmm ok maybe a little far fetched.
But I’ll let you make up your own minds…
