Empty fridge blues cured

Posted by Leanne Watson in Did you know?,Interestingness

There's nothing better than arriving home to a lovely tidy house after a vacation, coming back to a tidy fridge however usually means an empty one, and thoughts of traipsing round the supermarket trying to plan next weeks lunch can bring on the holiday blues faster than you can say 'mojitos by the pool'.

Now, thanks to Tesco, restocking the fridge can be as easy as scanning a virtual screen! Tesco's new interactive virtual grocery store, currently installed at Gatwick Airport, not only eliminates the need to stock up after your holiday but proves to be an efficient aid in passing the time when waiting for your flight.

The virtual grocery store allows users to scroll through 'virtual shelves,' use their phone to scan product barcodes and schedule shopping deliveries just in time for their arrival home.

Now all you have to worry about is whether you left the gas on!
