Have your drink and eat it!
Here's one for the eco evangelists (or gluttons) in us.
Harvard professor David Edwards has developed an edible/biodegradable packaging made up of a thin natural food membrane that can house food and drink. The packaging that can be easily peeled off ready to be chomped on could spell the end of non biodegradable packaging and pave the way for a yummier and more satisfying eating and drinking experience.
Hmm, one can't help but think that the natural food packaging may need some normal packaging to keep it germ free!
