Inspiration can come from anywhere
As designers we’re always looking for new sources to inspire us. Going to an exhibition, reading an arts magazine, traveling or simply opening our eyes when out and about in the city or countryside.
A recent find for me was a blog called The Dieline that features interesting packaging design. In a past life I used to work on packaging briefs which were always great fun and gave me an appreciation for what goes into creating a piece of packaging.
While on the subject - my all time favourite bit of packaging on sale now is the Clipper tea packs. The packs were designed by Big Fish who also happened to also create the Dorset Cereal packaging - also an all time favourite of mine!
I've bought this stuff just because of the gorgeous typography and illustration!
