Microsoft's Kinect system for Xbox 360 is great. Play golf by swinging your arms whilst holding an imaginary club,take on Mike Tyson without feeling actual pain, fly by flapping your arms like a 4 year old - these are just some of the ways you can use it to make yourself look absolutely ridiculous.
But it isn't just for fun and games. Remarkably, doctors are trialling such systems to carry out key hole surgery - the surgeon can manipulate his (and lets face it, your) equipment by making hand gestures like Tom Cruise in Minority Report. The potential is incredible - in 10 years time, top surgeons will be able to work from home!
